Trauma Training

  • Developed USC’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Trauma Program (2005) with a 5-year SAMHSA grant
  • Taught Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to USC trainees (2006 onward)
  • Supervised trainees on the Child and Adolescent Crisis, Emergency, and Consultation Service

  • Taught didactic course in psychotherapy

As Ward Chief on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Dr. Sugar taught trainees to:
